TIPS TO WRITE THE INTRO


The most simplest way to start an Introduction for any essay is to 
use back the description and points given in the essay question. For
 example in this question :-
Recently, your school organized a cleanliness campaign. As a head 
of the organizing  committee, you have been asked to write an 
article for your school.

Sample Intro

Recently, our school organized a cleanliness campaign. It was held 
for one week. The purpose was to create a conducive learning 
environment. Many activities were carried out during this 
campaign week. (31 words)

TIPS TO WRITE THE FIRST main point
Classrooms
-Beautifying classroom
-Updating information board
-Creating the reading corner
-You are given 1 main point + 3 supporting points to make a
  paragraph.
-Remember to use the ‘PAST SIMPLE FORM’
-Add your own words to expand the main point.
-Add one more supporting point if you can.

Sample 1st paragraph

One of the activities carried out during the campaign was to
clean all the classrooms. Students and teachers worked together
to beautify the classrooms. For example, students updated the
class information board with new posters and pictures. In
addition, they also prepared a special reading corner for
students. Students donated their own novels and story books to
the reading corner.   [56 words]

Other than that, students and teachers also cleaned the school
compound. Students cleaned and wiped the school notice boards
and decorated them with plastic flowers as frames to give them a
new look. They cleaned the school area and planted flower plants

Lastly, to make the campaign more exciting competitions were held
to boost the students morale. A trophy was given to the most
creative class. Class Maluri won the trophy. Whereas, Fatimah got
first prize in the essay writing competition on cleanliness organized
by the school. Lastly, Choo So Jo won the  poster drawing
competition. [54 words]

In conclusion, the school cleanliness campaign was a success. The
objective was met and the school got a new fresh and clean looking
environment. I would like to take this opportunity to pen my
heartfelt thank you to all the organizing committee members who
worked hard to make it possible. [50 words]
