DOLPHINS

KANGAROO

  
A kangaroo is / was a marsupial. Kangaroos  can / would  be found at / in Australia. They have / had large, powerful hind legs, large feet adapted for leaping, a long muscular tail of / for balance, and a small head. Female kangaroos have / has  a pouch called a marsupium in / on which joeys complete postnatal development.


Wild kangaroos are shot / shoot for meat, leather hides, and to protect grazing land from / for sheep and cattle. Although there is / are some controversy, harvesting  kangaroo meat  has / have  many environmental and health benefits / benefit over traditional meats.


The kangaroo is / was a national symbol of Australia. its / it's emblem is used / use on the Australian coat of arms, on / in some of its currency, as well as by some of Australia's well known organisations, including Qantas.

LION 
The lion belongs / belong to the cat family. With some / few males exceeding 250 kg (550 lb) in weight, it is the second-largest living / live cat after the tiger. Wild lions can / may be found in / at the sub-Saharan Africa and in / on Asia. 
The lions are / have facing a major population decline / declined of 30–50% over / of the past two decades / decade in its African range. Although the cause of the decline is / are not fully understood, habitat loss and / or conflicts with humans are currently the greatest causes of concern.

MOUNT RUSHMORE


The Mount Rushmore National Memorial is a / an sculpture carved / carve into the granite face of Mount Rushmore near Keystone, South Dakota, in / at the United States. Sculpted by Danish-American Gutzon Borglum and / or his son, Lincoln Borglum, Mount Rushmore features 60-foot (18 m) sculptures of / off the heads / head of four United States presidents / president :George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln. The entire memorial covers / covering 5.17 km and is 1,745 m above / below sea level.

Historian Doane Robinson conceived / conceive the idea for / to Mount Rushmore in / on 1923 to promote tourism in / on  South Dakota. In 1924, Robinson persuaded sculptor Gutzon Borglum to / for travel to the Black Hills region to ensure / ensuring the carving could / can be accomplished.The carving started in 1927, and ended in 1941.

 PARKOUR


 
    
Parkour is a / the  type of training discipline which / who uses movement. It / its was developed out of / off military obstacle course training. Parkour practitioners aim to move / moved quickly and / or  efficiently through their / they environment using only their bodies / body  and their surroundings to propel themselves / themself , negotiating obstacles in / on between.

They try / tried  to maintain as much / many momentum as possible without being / be unsafe. Parkour can include / including running, climbing, swinging, vaulting, jumping, rolling or quadrupedal movement / movements.


Parkour is / are non-competitive. It may / might  be performed on an / a obstacle course, but is usually practiced in a creative and sometimes playful manner / manners. 
Developed by / with Raymond Belle, David Belle, Sebastian Foucan and others in / on  the late 1980s,Parkour became popular in / at  the late 1990s and 2000s through film / films, documentaries and advertisements featuring those / these practitioners and other / others.
